Mark and Alex write:
“We are so grateful to have you as part of the Church family, and thank you for all your contributions, in time and money, to the work and ministry of the Church. Most of the time these contributions are quiet, discrete and anonymous.
The Bible teaches us that all things come from God, and joyful, regular giving is a Christian discipline and integral to our worship. Personally, we and our families practise tithing, i.e. giving 10% of our income, and have found this to be a great blessing. While those in debt should clear their debts first, we would ask you to consider adopting this practice, if you haven’t already.
Thank you for sharing with us in our calling to shine as the light of Christ here in Rio de Janeiro, and thank you for taking the time to consider how much you are able to commit to giving the Church, both monthly and as a one-off gift. Your response will remain anonymous and be processed by the Treasurer and Secretary.”
